There’s something about Paris Fashion Week that invigorates your soul and resets your pulse. Maybe it’s the creative energy or maybe it’s the way the city makes you slow down even when everything feels like it’s moving a hundred miles an hour.
This trip to Paris Fashion Week came together last minute, but somehow those are always the ones that end up changing you. Tyler and I landed in Paris with open minds and left with a strong vision for where Blackbird is headed - sustainable fashion and quiet luxury sourced from intentional brands with a unique story.

At Paris Fashion Week, we went back for a closer look at the Bevza Spring/Summer ‘26 collection and even got to try things on. Our dinners with Bevza and the Taller Marmo team at Paris Fashion Week felt more like reunions than meetings. Conversations about creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability, and life in between.

On our last night at Paris Fashion Week, Tyler and I stayed up with the Taller Marmo team talking about everything from design philosophy to our commitment to sustainability to our first jobs in fashion until we realized the sun was almost up and it was time to head to the airport.

Even the after-hours energy of Paris carried a sense of refined restraint. From intimate dinners with designers to late-night conversations about live, love and responsible design, Paris Fashion Week felt like a collective reflection on where luxury is heading.
We ended our time at Paris Fashion Week by grabbing McDonald’s on the way to the airport.
It sounds funny, but that late-night burger felt like the perfect full-circle moment and the best way to end Paris Fashion Week.
Sometimes the best memories come wrapped in paper and grease.
